A full time Art Educator who dedicates her after school time to making art. Friday, June 20, 2014. Explorations in Art Cloth with my Students. Since my trip to Arrowmont. I have been exploring dyeing, printing, stamping, and art cloth in my own work. This has been so much fun that I knew I had to add this type of work to my classroom curriculum. Through the help of DonorsChoose. I was able to get a Thermofax. Machine and hoops so I could introduce printing and embroidery to my students.

Monday, February 18, 2013. Last weekend the north east got a huge snow s. Torm and Central Park was gorgeous. There were so many people out and about. Even New Yorkers like to go sledding. KC, Big Cedar and Emily! January 2, 2017. Ready or not, I am wrapping up 2016 and going bravely into 2017. We traveled to Kansas City for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time with the Voight side of the family. Kansas City during the holiday season is magical and spending time with the family is always fabulous. The weather was ideal for watching the lighting. We stayed on the Plaza. Randy and the kids went to Boulevard. For a tour and then on to a Roasterie.

Friday, August 13, 2010. I wrote this for our newsletter. Fresh from the Rocky Mountains near Aspen, Colorado, where I went camping with my son for a couple weeks, I am back in the city, a bit closer to sea level where the oxygen is thick and the temperature is high. And the stars are hiding. I think the thing that hit me the most was the stars at night. May we all re-remember the feeling of the stars in the sky. Chicago School of Thai Massage.
